Is Tiger Woods a corporation? According to Jay Busbee of Yahoo! sports, he certainly is and "what he does on his own time is NOT his own business." Really?
I think what the guy does off the golf course IS his own business. The problem is he unfortunately got the world and media involved and interested when what was going on "inside" the home, came "outside" the home with the wife fight/car wreck.
There are many other famous men who some would say did a lot more for America than Tiger Woods. JFK for one. Bill Clinton is another. Lyndon Johnson passed more bills as a Senator than anyone in Senate history and Teddy Kennedy was able to "reach across the aisle," from time to time.
While none of these men might not be considered "corporations," they do have one thing in common with Tiger..they just weren't happy enough with one woman. The advantage they all had or have over Tiger is that in a government situation, things are discussed and often quieted or never discussed at all (the Kennedy tunnel? Did it exist?)
I don't feel sorry for Tiger if he has to pay his wife some moola...maybe he should. Maybe she really loves him and he just needs some sex addict help?
I do feel sorry for the kids at the Tiger Woods Learning Center in California. Each of the children who attend this school are given a chance to be thinkers, over-achievers, and have a chance at a better opportunity in life than some of their peers.
I hope these kids don't think, "geez, if I do well and make a lot of money like Tiger, I can cheat on my spouse, still keep the endorsement stuff, and everyone will still like me!"
That's the true sad part here because kids are our future and Tiger's just giving them something to think about that isn't idealistic, it's not funny, and it's certainly something they don't need to "learn."
Is Tiger Woods a corporation? Perhaps, but beyond that he is influential, especially to kids everywhere who want to be him someday.
